These tombstones are non-shunted which means that one terminal can be positive and the other negative. With a bridge wire, they can be made shunted. What I really like about these is that a 14 gauge wire can being inserted into the terminals without having to do a wire splice.

These lampholders feel nice and sturdy and well made.Had no trouble installing them and really like that the wire openings are in the front, as opposed to be coming up from the bottom like another product I found.

These tombstones worked great for a couple of lighting Fluorescent to LED retrofit projects. They hold the wires firmly and were well constructed. slid right in to the fixture with no problem! sturdy, good grip on the wire
